Is the new Sonic the Hedgehog really that bad?

I have been seeing so many bad reviews, and I was really interested in trying it out. Is it really that bad?

YES unfortunatly . I love Sonic and its so sad how they make such a crappy game like that. The one for game Cube and Dream Cast was pretty fun. But people have different tastes in Video Games, so you should just try it out for yourself.
