Read Blink by Malcolm Gladwell. It will give you the basic skills to know important details when you first recognise them.

They look like anyone else.... often thought of as "the nice guy/gal" in the neighborhood.

But you just gave me an idea! Why not pass a law that requires a big, black "P" bet tattooed on their forehead before they can leave prison or jail once convicted? Then parents could teach their children to stay away from those "bad people" and everyone would know who they are.

I'm sure the ACLU would be all over my idea, given their propensity for protecting criminals at the cost of public safety, but I think this should be given some consideration.

Best Wishes,

Sue

Well consider facts: 93% of molested children know their abuser.
69% fully trust their abuser.
95% of child kidnappings are by someone in their family.
And 3% of all cases are of the type reported by CNN.
So this tells me the greatest danger to a child is not the stranger in the park, but the one in their living room.

They look like normal people. Unless you observe the molestation happening, you can't physically tell. I doubt they were a shirt that says " I molest kids ".

Normally, they're the one's having sex with small children.

Other than that - there is no clear signal.
