you know how most pc games need the disk to play i have to swap disk all the time and i don't like to plus when i go to a lanparty it is anoying to cary all my game disk with me please help

I hate switching out CDs for my games as well. First, you have to find a CD imaging program. Nero works well, but there are some others as well. You need to create an image of the disk, and save it on your hard drive. After that, you need a CD emulating software. I use DaemonTools. You can find these at download.com With DaemonTools, you can make a virtual disk drive of which the computer doesn't know any difference. It is very handy.

There are several programs out there that makes a virtual disk onto your hard drive, which in turn tricks the computer into thinking that you have a disk in the drive.

You have to have the original disk in order for it to work.

Google the name of the game, plus "noCD", and download the patch, and bingo, no more "insert CD" messages!
