If you bought one maybe it would work and maybe it wouldn't, but at least you did something that was aiming to calm your baby and the fact that you are even debating whether to buy one is awesome because you are thinking of your babies comfort instead of your own. That is awesome. I say buy the bear because they are sounds from within the womb and it might make them feel more secure, but at the same time, when he was in your womb, he heard all that was going on outside the womb, so regardless, he like every other baby in this world is going to be fine as long as you are there with him, you are his mommy and if you keep him close to your chest sometimes, your baby can hear your heartbeat. I say buy it.

My son didn't like it. But you know, one of the sounds they hear in the womb is "SHHHH" that is why we automatically say "shhhhh" to a fussy baby to comfort them. Just a little nugget of info I thought I would pass on.

I had one for my last one, and it worked for him....but all babies are different so you might just have to take a chance and see...
