Are you SURE you want that? THink twice and then again because a teacher's pet pays a heavy price in being hated by her classmates. But if you are sure
1. Always be ontime
2. Always do your homework, perfectly
3. Always politely raise your hand to answer questions
4. NEVER EVER break any rules, talk to your friends, etc.
5. Keep everything perfectly neat
6. Help the teacher as often as you can, offer to stay after school to help her
7. Encourage the other students to be quiet and do their work
8. THank the teacher often
9. Compliment the teacher often
10. Lean on your parents to lean on the school board to give all teachers BIG Raises and smaller classes.

Yeah, kid...fancyname (above) has it right. You don't want to TRY to become a teacher's pet...you kind of have to suck up a little too much to achieve that. Also, being a teacher's pet has it's own set of problems...not only in terms of interacting with other students (most of whom hate suck-ups), but with other teachers as well, who often do not appreciate students trying to ingratiate themselves in that way. (If you are familiar at all with classic television, think Eddie Haskell) Now, what you CAN do is to do your absolute best everyday in every class to the be the best student you can be. That means being on time, turning stuff in promptly, putting out a legit effort to learn, studying hard, coming to class prepared, and being willing to ask questions. If you do that, chances are that your teachers are going to genuinly like you, which I think is what you were really after in the first place...oh, and you'll be surprised how much you'll learn, and how much you'll enjoy school.

Teacher's don't have 'pets'. Granted they have people they trust and rely on more than other students, but all are treated equally. Just give your teacher respect and you in turn will be respected.
