Assuming we didn't use it to make just about everything we use, what would it be good for? What would mother nature do with a barrel of Krude?

Oil is good for all sorts of things... i.e.
aeroplanes
buildings
cars
clothing
detergent
insulation
packaging
paint
plastic
playgrounds
toothbrushes
toothpaste

An earthquake would eventually burst open a huge reserve and it would kill thousands of animals and would make room for new life on earth. It would have been normal evolution.

If we weren't using oil to fuel the world, it'd just be sitting in the ground. Something unused is. . .useless.

i read that it lubricates the tectonic plates and limits earthquakes. I have no idea if this is even possible.
