Metal is music it's just not some fag trying to rap to a drum machine.Dragonforce has 2 of the best guitarist i have ever heard i cant say i like the vocals but the guitar makes up for it.I've been playing for 10 years now and feel it would take me another 10 years to play like them

For me, they are not a progressive metal band, their music is closed to what we say Power metal band. But that's only my opinion, cause they are really in speedy music, the harmony of their music are produced by their twin guitarist, their lyrics are about the fantasy or epic, and also their cover artwork, so very "powermetal".
If you like the progressive metal check this band :

dream theater
pendragon
threshold
etc

hate the band.......the guitar player does move really fast.......and they all need haircuts. and to the person that made the comment that metal isnt music.....it is, and its better than half the **** people listen to these days. maybe its not your type of music....but its still music.
