I don't think he is a good President, the problem was the alternatives offered by the Democrats were even worse. Bush gets somethings right, however a lot of the things that need fixing in this country, like Social Security (if you're under 40 you can pretty much forget about getting anything from it.) and Medicare (if you're under 50 you won't get very much from it). Bush was right that Social Security needs reform, but it won't happen because it's too easy for demagogues to misrepresent the positions of people who try to fix it. The two judges he appointed to the Supreme Court who were confirmed look pretty good. His medicare drug prescription program is a disaster waiting to happen and he has increased spending on entitlements and non-defense discretionary spending far too rapidly, these funding commitments are an economic disaster waiting to happen. I hope he uses his veto power a lot with the newly elected Congress. Gridlock will be good for the country.

With all the "I Do's" here I thought someone was getting hitched..
Personally... I think Bush has done an unimaginably awful job.. in almost every respect.. he has lacked tact, he has lacked credability, poise, class.. he obviously lacks brilliance.. and obviously is a President on a string.. who reads his ill written speeches off cue cards.. which he often fails to even read properly and has so often tripped on his words.. like his now famous "Nukular" creation.. I mean honestly.. you'd think the President of the USA would be able to pronounce NUCLEAR properly!
When September 11 happened.. Bush was in a primary school.. where it famously took him some 20 minutes before he reacted.. and he was filmed reading a book upside down at the time..
The only bit of credit I extend to him, is his galantry for "the cause".. I take my hat off for that.. and for the fact that he stands for his convictions at all costs because deep down he is fighting a war that needs to be fought.. but he has fought it completely wrong in my views,, and projected an image which i think has aliented many of the good people of America and even Israel.. who now suffer together.. when in fact many disapprove.. I've seen many tapes and not all Jews and Americans supported everything Bush did.. from the start.. in fact half of America didnt even want Bush as president and that has now risen to around 70% according to recent polls.
I'd love to have seen him do a great job.. I really would have.. but I honestly can't say that he has..

I have not been necessarily happy with the things that our President has said and done; his politics and actions have been questionable at times but you know what - I know one thing - he is a man. Man is not perfect. Man makes mistakes. While he is yet the president, it behooves us all to unite and pray for him and for the wisdom of God in his life so that he can make wise and profitable decisions for our country. When I think of who is next in line - I'd rather he complete his term and let's start over. At least we know that the democrats have a chance at bat. Now let's see what they are going to do with the ball......

He is a great President and a great man he follows his beliefs ,
when he makes a decision he sticks to it . He doesn't flip flop just because the wind blows in a different direction.

Bush is a loser who sucks. Maybe he should've gotten a ******** in the oval office with a cigar involved. It might have made him less up-tight. He drove this country into the ground with this war. He should be spending the money he is wasting on the war to protect our borders and get these people the hell out of our country (terrorists i mean).

I do. Bush does some things I don't like, but I agree with most of what he has done, and know he is better than the lunatics he beat in 2000 and 2004.

I've seen this question on here a million times before. Either I could think you are bland and unimaginative for asking the question, or I could conclude that I am a dork who spends way too much time on Yahoo Answers.
