They killed Jesus, but that was a long time ago and I'm sure they're sorry.

I don't think its that simple, I am a Muslim myself, and naturally the perception would be that I hate Jews and I would lobby against them but that is not the case here. The Jewish society is a collection of many individuals with Jewish faith just like others and we should weigh our decisions individually. If an individual is wrong whether he or she is Jewish or Muslim then we shant support them but if they are right we should support them. So, its simple logical analysis, we can't just come to a conclusion based anything that a whole group of people from a certain society should be segregated.

there's a huge difference between Jews and zionists. zionists are pro-Israel. They want the state of israel even if it means violating the laws of Judaism--no murder, no stealing, no gods before God, etc. Israel now violates them all. Period.
there's also a huge difference between someone says he's a jew simply because his parents were jews and someone who says he's a jew and practices it. someone who says he's a jew but doesn't practice the laws of judaism is not a jew but a liar. to be jewish is to practice the laws of Moses, period.
And finally, from the mouth of Former Israeli Foreign Minister Shlomo Ben-Ami:
“The reality on the ground was that of an Arab community in a state of terror facing a ruthless Israeli army whose path to victory was paved not only by its exploits against the regular Arab armies, but also by the intimidation and at times atrocities and massacres it perpetrated against the civilian Arab community. A panic-stricken Arab community was uprooted under the impact of massacres that would be carved into the Arabs' monument of grief and hatred.”
“Israel, as a society, also suppressed the memory of its war against the local Palestinians, because it couldn't really come to terms with the fact that it expelled Arabs, committed atrocities against them, dispossessed them. This was like admitting that the noble Jewish dream of statehood was stained forever by a major injustice committed against the Palestinians and that the Jewish state was born in sin.”
"Part of that land was bought by the Zionist organizations from Affendis, landowners living in Turkey or anywhere else throughout the Ottoman Empire, and these people were inevitably evicted by these kind of transactions. But as a whole, I think that not more than 6 or 7% of the entire surface of the state of Israel was bought. The rest of it was either taken over or won during the war. "

first of all why should our gov, support probable our worst enemy? any one who thinks Israel is our friend should think again, if they were our friends then why would during the cold war with Russia, in the 70s Pres, Carter gave Israel our Radar secrets who in turn gave them to Russia who developed a system to turn any missile fired back on us, who remembers the premier of Russia saying he would bring America down? Reagan became president and he was a very determined and strong leader and a wonderful bull shitter, who remembers Russia had the us surrounded with nuclear subs plus 22 more at Cuba, Reagan had our missles loaded on railcars and moved daily and put on manual control, he tricked Russia into thinking he had already placed nutron bombs thru out Russia, he blufffed Rusia long enough to get star wars developed and instaled then Russia knew they were beaten, who remembers carter giving Israel the secret for our silent propeller for our Los Angles class subs , they gave those to Russia also, and caused us to lose a couple of subs that were sank.who remembers the USS COLE where the Isralies attacked for several hours a unarmed ship killing about 40 of our men ? accident?? how explain? hell no they have never been our friend they just own our country thru the new;s media and the fact they are over 60%of our congress and senate, I trust Iran or north Korea more at least we know where they stand, Israel has been robbing this country for to long now so hell no no help.

Would it be fair to assume that the question here really is: why should we, or should we not support Israel?. .
Then the clarification needed is : who is 'WE'?
It is important to remember than a nation and it's leaders are not necessarily representing the faith group that we stereotype or 'group' them as, just as the US is no longer simply a "Christian" nation, even tho we are taught that it was founded on Christian priniciples. The USA "we"-- are a very pluralistic country, as we were founded on the principles of the basis of freedom of religion. .lest we forget.
and as US citizens we should be more cognizant of others' right to such freedom from stereotypes and hate, not just the political issues that we so often confuse as the basis of government and a democracy.
