Personally, I like it, especially the spelling of it. Iesha... different, but not so strange as to have people asking for the pronunciation all the time.

I can't think of any horrible nicknames that could come from that. Ignore forex's Leash comment. He read Iesha and Lesha. I think it's a great name.

Iesha (assuming it is Eye-Ee-Sha) sounds like a nice name. But I would be concerned about her having to live with people thinking her name was Lesha (because the I looks like a lowercase L) and calling her that for the rest of her life. Someone who replied previously already did that.

If you like that sort of name. It's not really obnoxious like some. I tend to like more traditional names, but ones which are not overly popular at the moment. That would avoid having ten kids in the class with the same name.

I guess that is one of the benefits of a name like Lesha. It's not that common, so go for it if you like it. I like the name Alicia, by the way. It rhymes with Lesha. Plus, I like the singer Alicia Keyes a lot.

Iesha is a beautiful name. It's arabic for "she who lives". I think it's absolutely beautiful.

Is it EYE-sha? if so that is very pretty, otherwise it is too distracting for me to try learning another pronunciation and I'd forget to notice the girl
