I think you are the one that can choose the best gifts for your family , you only need to look to at many gifts at one page " like at http://goodmanzone.tripod.com " , you see 9 gifts of a given category "you choose of many "at the same page and think of one person at a time with the 9 gifts on your screen , this will let you choose more easily. and there are always gift certificates where you determine the price and let the person choose his gift later.

For mom you cant go wrong with candles or a nice skin care set kinda thing. Dads are tough. A gift certificate to like a Marks Work Warehouse, or like a Home Depot if hes a handy man at all. For the sis a dvd or cd(if she still listens to them) that she wants or a gift certificate to one of those stores you mentioned. I think a gift certificate to any store is a good gift for anyone and I think $50 is a good certificate amount if you can't go over $55.

A great gift idea for your mom is have you and your sister sit for a portrait, have one framed and give that to her. I promise you, it will be her favourite gift. For your dad, how about something that you two can do together? A gift certificate for the bowling alley or a whitewater rafting trip. Your sis may like expensive clothes, but you can always tone down the price by buying pyjamas or gloves, maybe a hat? Good for you for putting some thought into it.

It's always nice to have money to get your family stuff, especially if you're still at home, and well, you don't have an income.

For your mom, well let's see.... Bath stuff, every girl can use bath stuff everyday. And they love it!. Don't get her kitchen gadgets, yes, she can use them everyday, but would you really want to get something for Christmas that she had to work with? Get her something she can enjoy. If she listens to music, get her a cd wallet, or even a new cd. Just because she is older, doesn't mean she can't have good taste, hell she could like rock music. Perfume, her favorite kind. Some pretty, but cheap earrings. Just try to get something from the heart, no matter what it is, she'll love it. Try a gift set with incense, candles, bubble bath, and a pair of slippers. That's what I'm doing for my mother-in-law. Here's something really sweet that I always do for my mom. Christmas morning I run to a convienent store close by and get a rose for $2.99, I have already bought a cheap, but pretty vase. I leave it under the tree for her to see when she wakes up. One year me and my sister decided to get and fill her stocking. Since the kids always got one, and she never did. She loved it so much she cried, it brought back that feeling of being a kid and enjoying Christmas morning for herself, and not through her kids.

Your dad... Men are so hard to shop for! Get him a pocket watch, have something special engraved on it. You can do that at Wal-mart, for $20. Get him some tools, a new case for his eyeglasses or sunglasses. Treat him to lunch or dinner, just the two of you. Get him a dvd set, like if he loves CSI, get the 1st season, it's like $40, though. Cologne, or sausage gift sets are also good ideas.

Your sister is probably going to seem hard, but actually no.
You probably want to get her something that will make her feel special. You want to see her eyes light up when she opens it. You can't buy the things that she really wants, so get things you know that she will like. She is a teenager, MAKEUP, BATH STUFF, every girl LOVES getting this stuff, they can't get enough! Is her favorite singer Jennifer Lopez? Get her J.Lo's new perfume. Go to American Eagle and get her a cheap pair of panties. Cute socks at Wal-mart. They have really adorable socks there. A cd, a prepaid phone card for her cell. Something for her bedroom, a pink shade lamp with fake crystals maybe. Some pink fuzzy slippers.

Give from your heart, they are family it shouldn't matter if it costs $1 or $100.
Merry Christmas to you and yours.
