You do not want to stop getting your period. Your body needs to release the lining (the blood that comes out). If that lining does not get released, there could be serious reprocussions such as cervical cancer.

No, and if there was it wouldn't be healthy for your body. Depro Provera will stop your menus while you are on it, it is in injection that you take every 3 or 6 months? However, you do gain a lot of weight while on it. What is the problem with your menstrual periods? Are they painfull? You could have something else going on here.

I don't know of any, but you can skip the placebo pills in birth control and skip your period, but I don't think it is recommended that you do it all the time. Or I think there are some forms of birth control that you only have 3-4 periods a year. I have Mirena and I haven't had a period in 3 1/2 years.
