Why is it ok for two women to kiss and have intercourse, but not two men? America in general is homophobic. Why do we think it's wrong that someone has a different way of life than themselves? It's not like one day they woke up, and chose to be gay. Society is down in the dumps. I blame the Bible.

True that!!! I hate that if we fall in love with someone it no our fault it like me tell a straight person that they wrong. I hate how society is to day and i hope that will change soon.

the only difference is that it's usually more interesting to LOOK at when it's two women. either it's okay or not in someone's opinion. the only double standard is the fact that seeing two men together is not arousing for the majority.
Society is down in the dumps, but I don't think it's just because of the bible. There's too many other issues to consider.
People too different from the crowd have always been persecuted. Some were burned, some just shunned. Mostly just because they had different things they wanted out of life.
My guess is that it's human nature to abandon the ones that don't follow the group. Maybe just some people need someone they can act negatively to, and alleviate their guilt by believing the other person is just "wrong".
Maybe you are blaming society for guilt you have for your own actions. If not, than ignore mass opinon, and go your own way with pride.

I am level 6--so I've been here a long time.
There are 2 categories where ignorance is so astounding that I have to sometimes stop and just say ___wow....
This is one, misinformation & hatred fuel a lot of questions here.....so parents AND shools have failed.
But even scarier----is the "pregnancy" category......where 12 year old girls want to know if they can be PG after hand-jobs, or oral, or what to do about their cheating 20 yr old BFs....
Parents--WAKE UP!! leave the gay kids alone, and educate the "breeders"!

I understand, totally. I don't think it's bad at all for men to have sex. I think that you fall in love with who you fall in love with. I accually posted somewhere else that it's not like I woke up one day and decided to be gay. Anyway, yeah, bible bashers do cause alot of it, and also it had to do with socieity not wanting to change,

That's a good start. But, honestly I don't think it's the bible. I think it's the people who pretend to follow the bible but they don't. They make up stuff and claim it's in the bible and fail to actually follow stuff that really is in the bible (judging, shrimp, do unto others, etc).
For some reason, I can't imagine Jesus joining godhatesfags.

we are taught from when we are little what it right and wrong unfortunately that is one of the teachings it shouldn't be right for a man and a man to do things and it shouldn't be right for a woman and woman to do things. it's hypocritical we should stick to one answer and im against the gay n lesbian thing sorry.

most str8 men have the fantasy of being with two women, so in their mind being a lesbian is OK. but a true str8 guy doesn't have fantasies of two men and a women so to them two guy's are taboo
