"Human babies. Number 1 on the most endangered species list"

What do you think of this bumper sticker? I personally had mixed feelings about it.

Hmmm, seems like typical right-wing rhetoric, based on a complete lack of facts.

#1. Human babies are not a species, humans are.
#2. Even considering human babies as a collection, their numbers do not indicate that they are endangered.

If the right-wingers put some thought into it, they would see that the "endangered" class would be the babies of women who are pro-choice. You would think that would be a positive outcome for them.

True, we as a society, have accepted abortion and the 44 million plus children it has killed. If we continue to do so human babies will be endangered but of course all of the wacko liberals will only care about praying mantises or something.

It sounds like it was telling us about abortion. Many babies don't have a chance of survival anymore which puts them on the endangered species list.

I agree with politicfuture...
I understand in some remote bad situations (incest, rape, etc.) abortion could be acceptable. But I dont think it's for us to play God and decide who's life is valuable and who's isn't. Not when there are so many ppl out there desperate for a child, and society today has given a woman so many options. OTHER than abortion....

No, it's not true that human babies are endangered. , dah! of course they are NOT!!

You would have to know what the word endangered means.

But they are still being killed, that's no disputing.
