$100+ for family, $50-$100 for friends, $25-$50 for acquaintances, $10 and under for people I tolerate but still feel obligated to buy for.

Well, it kind of depends on the person. I spend about $300 on my boyfriend of six years, and usually about $20 for close friends. My family, about $30-100, again, depending on who it is.

I hope people look forward to gifts from me. I do a lot of shopping in stores and online for Christmas to get the best gifts for my loved ones. Except some of my guy friends. They just get a bottle of booze...LOL

I have to buy for 7 children,(none of which are mine)14 adults..so it varies greatly on price range..I shop year round for them all & only buy one gift for the kids each, and 3 of the adults are our parents as well. Our parents get the higher cost items ,ranging from 25.00 up to 300.00,and usually get them 2-3 things a piece...The rest get in on the price ranges of 5.00 to 25.00..I take pride in knowing I am particular as to what I buy each child & person, knowing their tastes in things..so yes they look forward to our gifts..Plus I am known for creative wrapping techniques as well..=)Can you tell I love Christmas? =)

I don't look at price. I look at what's appropriate for any given person...what they'd like best & then I look to see if I can afford it. If I can, I buy it. If not, then I scramble around to find something else that I think they'd enjoy.

I don't have to buy too many, but I usually spend about $30. They seem to like what I buy, but who knows?
