Ok, I'm taking the birth control called LO/OVRAL. I'm usually good at remembering to take it, but yesterday I forgot. Last night, me and my husband had sex and this morning I remembered......So I took it and then at my scheduled time I took my other one. Then tonight me and my husband had sex. I'm wondering should I be worried about becoming pregnant or not? Anything that could be of help.....please say. If you want to criticize me-----save it for another time. In advavnce thank you to all who answer.

There is always a slim chance you could get pregnant but because you normally are regular and you did double up today I think you should be fine. If you are extremely worried stop by the pharamcy tomorrow and pick up the morning after pill.

Birth control isn't always one hundred percent effective. I got pregnant twice on two different kinds of birth control. The first on Ortho Novum and the second on the shot. If it is meant to be, it's meant to be. If your birth control has been reliable up till now, there should be no worries. I really don't think you should jump to buy the morning after pill. There are pregnancy tests out there that can detect pregnancy hormones within the first few days of being pregnant. If you are pregnant, don't panic. I have no regrets having had my children. I am now a mother of three beautiful girls and wouldn't have it any other way. Good luck and know that I would never judge you for your decision. God Bless.

If you miss like two or three days in the row then you could possibly get pregnant. If you forgot just one day and remembered to take it immediately then I wouldn't think you could get pregnant. If you are really concerned about getting pregnant, stop by the pharmacy and get a pill call Plan B. They should have it behind the counter and it doesn't require a prescription. It has two pills in it and each pill equal about 5 birth control pills. You take the first one within 72 hours of intercourse then you take the second one 12 hours later. I hope this helps! (Oh, by the way, you have to be 18 or older to purchase it.)

I was on LO/OVRAL. What happened to you, happened to me a number of times. I never got pregnant. There is always a chance, but as long as you take it when you remember and follow your regular schedule, you should be alright.

I think if I would take birth control, I would forget all the time, simply because it happens. It doesn't sound to me like you have anything to worry about, just continue to take it and keep yourself on track. You'll be okay if you just keep taking it. If you are worried, go buy the morning after pill to add to your birth control, just for tomorrow. It's a little expensive but if your that concerned about pregnancy it's worth it. Again, just keep taking it.

as a general rule, taking the extra dose as soon as you remember, will prevent a pregnancy MOST of the time...there is always the chance. Look up plan B, and you are sharing a similar scenario.
also remember...that even if you take one every day and remember it, there is STILL a 1:1000 chance of pregnancy...

also please do not smoke if you take birth control...the stroke you may have...you will not have to worry about being pregnant...you'll have to worry about who is gonna change your next diaper...

It's according to when the first day of your last period was. There is only about a 24 hour window that you can get pregnant, but his little swimmers live 3-5 days.

First, check any paperwork that comes with your pills. While Im not sure about your specific pills, I know that my pills have literature that say that it is okay to mess up one days pills but that if you miss two or more days that you need to use other protection.

I don't think so since you took the pill as soon as you remembered - that's what most of the instructions say.

But, ask your Gyn to be sure.
