"US overpopulation, the world's number 1 problem", What do you think of this bumber sticker?
I personally thought, well, then why don't you help out the cause and just put the .45 to your head and pull the trigger... you won't be missed.

Exactly. I ALWAYS say that to people who gripe on about overpopulation, defend abortion with that, etc.
then 1) why don't you be the first to volunteer and 2) why are you trying to help Africa and why do you care about people dying in war,
War and Famine is the best way to control population. So why do they care?

I often wonder why we send "aid" to parts of the word to "save" tens of thousands of people, who will only reproduce (resulting in hundreds of thousands of people tomorrow) in places that cannot sustain even thousands of people. Places like Bangledesh - where every hillside is stripped of trees for fuel, which turn into mudslides in the annual typhoons killing thousands. And then, because they're starving and have no food, we send food and aid and they survive - and reproduce in even greater numbers - stripping the hills even more bare and creating more mudslides.
What kind of sense does that make?
At some point, the population has to stabilize at a lower level. We don't help by providing aid in areas where people die from overpopulation.
It's not that bad all around the world - yet. But it will be unless populations stabilize.
On a cultural level, Muslims are breeding like rats. It is estimate that by 2050, most of the populations of western europe will be majority muslim. Same problem in the US. We get millions of illegal aliens streaming across the border to suck up everything they can steal from America. Lower population numbers would reduce that pressure.

I think overpopulation is a concern. We don't do so well with the 300 million we have in the US and 6 billion worldwide.

I think the bumper sticker is great. .. but its Your LACK of Knowledge of the English Lang. The worlds #1 prob IS NOT US population ,, the question in question was made up by You Dumbshit..Plus in the 2nd paragraph, there are Two mispelled words, both of which are "You" Now replace those two words with the word "I" and we'll all be happy !! Go home Idiot !!

I think that was inaccurate... there are many other nations more overpopulated than the USA. IE, China and some S. African nations.

I'm thinking if they can afford an "exotic" car then they probably aren't a part of the overpopulation problem. i.e. on welfare or what not.
