I am curretnly 13 and I love hanging around old people. I dont usually like to hang with young people my age because peple my age are into ghetto stuff and talking ganster, like.."dont hate" and I know not all people are like that...but is it okay because I dont usually like to talk to pll my age. Will I turn out to be boring?

I have a lot of friends that are adults 'cause i don't like kids my age either. Nah. I don't think you'll be boring.

You sound almost like Jesus. When he was 12 he wanted to hang around the older people so that he could learn the ways of the Jewish culture. He wasn't interested in doing what the majority of the youth of his age group were probably doing because he had a greater calling on his life. Maybe God has a calling on your life that you can only get from the older generation. May God bless you to find your destination.

45 and up?????? Old?????? I didn't think of myself as old at 47..... I just think a 13 yr old is still a baby! LOL
I was much like you when I was young. The fact is that you are likely more mature in general than your peers. I wrote a speech in the 9th grade about the psychological effects of people being treated as a scapegoat. I actually had a subscription to some professional psychological journals!
Well, just be yourself and do what you like. Eventually, some of those peers will grow up too. Some people never grow up though. ;o)

Well how old we talking about? I mean if your hanging with older guys 18-23 i would be careful. some guys can be pigs. i would say try to find some new friends who dont talk retarded and start hanging out with them. im glad there are other people out there who are very annoyed by these young kids who think their gansters. im 20 and i am so tempted to knock the head of these little punks. its the worst when the kids white cause he has no right to talk likes hes black. dam wiggers.

It depends on what you are doing with these older people (and how old they are)
If you are talking about dating or anything like that then it's not OK if they are over the age of 18.
I am sure you can find kids your own age that have the same interest as you

Actually, no, you'll have a better understanding as to why the older generation thinks the way they do and why nothing ever changes. Morals and ethics still create a solid foundation for life, there are no other alternatives. The older people get, the more they see this and change thier ways. You will have that advantage over others your age.

Of course not. You'll probably grow up with an older head on your shoulders, but you won't be boring. I hung out with plenty of adults when I was younger, and I turned out just fine. Perhaps you're just more mature than your peers.
