You did NOT search a lot and if you were honest with yourself you would know it. All of these are available online, Look up the key words. Rome, Dante, Cervantes Medici,

I think the 2nd answer covered everything, I just wanted to add if you haven't read Machavali's "The Prince", I recommend it, it's a fabulous book.
