I won't bore you with my levels, but I will say that I own 3 full sets of Barrows armour, 4 full sets of Runite, a Blue Halloween mask, and I have 21 million in cash. ;-)

I don't know if you're f2p (free to play) or p2p (pay to play) so I'll try to list some ways for both.

F2P:

Mining Iron. (requires level 15 mining) Iron ores sell for 100-130gp each. i recommend the mine south of Falador, as it is less crowded than the Varrock or Al Kharid mines most days.

Mining Rune Essense: (requires the Rune Mysteries Quest) Rune Essense is a huge market. Everybody uses runes, whether they enjoy magic or not. Most players like to get their runes as cheaply as possible, and Rune Essense is the answer. If you don't mind a click-and-wait method, then this is for you. Click once on the Essense rock and let your inventory fill on it's own. The last time I checked, regular Essense was selling for around 35gp each. This is less than Iron Ore, but you won't be competing with other players to get it.

Cow Hides: (No requirements) High level crafters will frequently buy Cow Hides for 100gp or more. Cows have a combat level of 2, and just 8 hit points, which means you can fight them as soon as you leave Tutorial Island. They obviously won't take long to kill, either. I recommend the pasture just south of Falador, instead of the one in Lumbridge. It's smaller, but there are fewer players most days.

P2P:

Picking Flax: (No requirements) Just south of Seer's Village is a large field of flax. Just pick it and bank it. Flax sells for 100-120gp, so this is an easy way to make 100,000gp an hour with no skill requirements.

Bowstrings: (Requires level 10 Crafting) Instead of banking the flax you pick, head upstairs of the building just north of the chapel in Seer's Village. There is a spinning wheel where you can convert your flax into valuable Bowstrings. These sell for 150-170gp, which makes it well worth the extra effort!

Pure Essense: (Requires level 30 Mining, and Rune Mysteries Quest) At level 30 Mining on a p2p world, you will mine Pure Essense, which sells for 100gp or more in large amounts.

Depends if your a member or not. Members pick flax witch you can make 50k in less than an hour and 100k in 2 hours, but if your a non-member best thing to do is mine coal.

Try air running. Just follow these steps. I made over a mil in just 1 day!

1. Go to falador east bank in World 16.
2. Obtain an air tally (or an air tiara) and some regular ess.
3. Go south to the air altar with ur tally (or tiara) and 25 un-noted ess (this is important) and enter it.
4. You will see other players there. Trade with anybody who says "open" and offer them the 25 un-noted ess. They should give you roughly 2k cash and 25 noted ess.
5. Return to the bank, deposit the 25 noted ess and withdraw it un-noted and go back to the altar to make more money.
6. Repeat as often as you like til u have the amount of money u need.

Trust me it works, i used the money to buy rune g.

well it takes long but i made about 200k in less than 2hours

all you need to do is become a member(like me ^-^) also go to world 66

mine 27 pure ess then head to draynor after you get to draynor get 27unnoted pure ess then head for entrana(where you go to do the quest lost city) as you probaly know you cant take armour.dont worry if u cant find it becuase there will be a stream of ppl going there so jus follow them.talk to any monk u will then board a ship after u reach off the ship you will be at entrana

follow the stream of ppl then there will be a huge rock where alot of ppl are there will be ppl saying open and open27/27 trade them and they will trade you 27law runes and 27noted p ess
trade them your p ess unnoted with 27

run to draynor bank and repeat the process but also unnote the ess and put the laws in ur bank

5k of laws=about 1.5mill
500laws =150k
50laws=15k sell the laws for 300 each too!

this will take a while though so be ready for the patients

get a full inventory of cows go to alkharid and sell the hides for 100 each reapeat until you have 50k
