I am gravitated to this issue because this is the last person I would ever dream of saying something like this. It's like Santa Claus dying on Christmas Day. I have a black girlfriend who was raised by white parents. I am a white male. For me, what I saw was a sad man totally out of control and needs therapy. I think he should take some time to internalize it before he just comes out and deals with the public. I think it would be smart for blacks not to play the race card. Jamie Fox, a black actor, was quoted as saying he will physically harm Michael if he sees him. That will only incite violence and anger. A person in his position and wealth should use more caution than that. I saw Michael's apology on Letterman and it seems to me he should just be down to earth and say he was pissed off because he was being interrupted and he gave the guys a low blow. You know he has issues if he's talking about Katrina and anger towards other countries to explain himself.

I guess what I am asking is what is the next step in his life and how will it play out in the public?

this is not the first time Michael Richards was out of control while on stage
he had a incident this past April or May that didnt hit the news like this one did

He will probably check into a rehab center and blame his anger on substance abuse

I agree with you... what has been done to this man's career as a result of a mental illness that was set off by insensitive people in an already stressfull situation is a shame.

"He who is among you that is without sin, cast the first stone."

Maybe most people don't take it to those extremes... but he was big enough to apogize and no one will ever fault Jamie Fox for taking it to a physical extreme which is NEVER called for over words... Who is more ignorant? The famous white man that made an anger related maistke and apologized or the famous black man that jumped on a band wagon and threatened physical harm in exchange for words spoken in haste that are deeply regretted and just a shame!

We have ALL had these moments in our lives and the lack of understanding is more discusting than the deed itself!

Thanks for telling me that... It just backs my opinion all the more on how one mans meat is another mans poison. This world is full of hypocritical, ignorant people who I honestly believe are employed by some special station in hell to knock others off balance and then kick them when they are down.

Apologies used to mean something. That is the only thing I am angry at Richards for. For giving Black people something else to ***** about!

You know Im not racist by any means but on a few occasions I have drooped the N bomb just out of anger because of people being stupid....I see all of these other comedians Black, Mexican...etc that use words like cracker or whitie in there acts and that just burns me up to no avail....They get upset when white people use derogatory remarks against them but they can talk it up against white people like they have the right to do and say anything they want to us...so I think he will still have a good following just not from black people I saw him on Letterman as well and I believe him in his sincerity

he has hired a publicist who has a reputation for making nice with the black community. I think he's doing damage control but it's just too obvious what he really thinks. I think people are just tired of spin control and being lied to. Like Judge Judy said, "don't pee on my shoe and tell me it's raining." No matter what he says about it now, we already know he's a bigot. He can't take that back. I'm glad we know. It scares me to think of who else is lurking out there.

It is starting to come out that Kramer was heckled for over ten minutes. One of the things that was said to him was, "you aint funny **** a" then when kramer replied with a witty retort the heckler replied with "You don't know me **** a, Don't fuc k with this **** a".

It also is being reported that the black guys who were calling kramer **** a and threatening him were also threatening the people who opened up the show for Richards..

Real innocent victims...? Seems like two punks who should've been bounced out before Richards ever hit the stage..

Personally, I don't understand the hate for blacks by whites...if anything blacks should resent whites for the way they are spoken to and about...but it is my observation...they seem to keep a sense of peace about them...I don't know why there hasn't been
a race war in this country...and racism is taught...because I was
not taught it and I don't feel hate towards anyone for anything. But blacks in general are still very looked down upon...it makes me mad and sad...but all we can do is treat people the way
we want to be treated...this world is only temporary anyway.

He is in talks with Rev. Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton..they
will set him straight...also just to let you know, Dr Phil has a
new technique where he places people who hate other people
all in one house to learn about each other..and in the end
they all realize they are all human beings with feelings.

I think he was upset and sorry about his outburst. But I think people who are hating him are showing their bias and hatred. What makes them better?
