Im going to canada soon and was wondering with my commerce bank account, if i withdrawl from an ATM in canada obviously the money coming out will be canadian...but will my bank make the proper adjustments because my account is in USD? or do they have fees

best way to go- the exchange rate may change your bank ATM should give you a good- Try to find your banks ATM- don't use an ATM the is not attached to a bank-
The stand alone ATM in stores and gas stations are not safe. you know who you are giving your information to.

Yes, the bank will adjust and both banks may charge you fees, but my experience has been that using an ATM is usually a better deal, fee-wise, than using a credit card outside the US. Also more convenient than carrying cash or travelers checks and changing money.

When you withdraw the money your bank will charge you their current exchange rate (So yes, they will make the adjustment for you).You can generally find their current exchange rate on your banks website. They may add a fee on top, when I withdrew money in Canada the fee was 1% of the withdrawl.

yes not only Canada but most any country with ATM will give you the local currency at the bank rate rest assured your bank does this every day
