I think you're talking about Mary Kay Letourneau and she wasn't bad looking huh? Well, if you're into that sort of thing, it appears to be a trend throughout the US. There was also another one in Florida a couple of months ago.
By the way, I don't know how in depth your paper is, but Mary Kay gave an interview on 20/20 about a year or two ago. I am sure you can find the transcript on their website. I think Barbara Walters conducted the interview. Good luck on your research paper.
