i am gonna have a birthday party for my son at our local movie theatre but they only show 1 movie a week. we live in a small town our only theatre. hes gonna be 5 yrs old. so i want a good family friendly movie that the kids will enjoy watchin. they are showing HAPPYFEET. we saw that already. loved it! then they are gonna show nativity on the 15th of December, dont wanna watch that movie. We plan on having the party sometime from the 11th-18th not sure exactly what day. his birthday is the 22nd so we dont want to get the kids away from the family at that time so we want it earlier than his actual bday. So i guess now imma have to find a movie and take it to them so they can show it. But i dont know where i can find a site where they show the new releases coming out on dvd so i can go buy the movie. or do you have any recommendations on what we can see? they show family movies so we have seen most of the new movies at the theatre. or does anyone know of a good classic kid movie?thanks

I use the website www.screenit.com a LOT! It's designed for parents to check out content and suitability for kids, but I use it for my own decisions. They tell you everything about the movie that might be objectionable, as far as sex, violence, language, bad behaviors that might be imitated by kids, stuff like that. They also warn you if there are things about the movie that might be physically unsuitable, such as strobe lights or shaky camera angles. They have sections for new movies/DVD's as well as stuff that's been out a while. Hope this helps!

I did this some years in the past: New Years occasion starts off at 7 PM, then my toddlers will would desire to be in mattress like 9 PM. That way its the Adults turn to have some exciting. i'm not an Alcoholic, yet not having those variety of beverages quite on New Years is kinda bland dont you think of? yet whether its your abode its your regulations. For nutrients, stay with the toddlers uncomplicated favorites: one million.) poultry Nuggets - purchase them Frozen with the aid of the Bag at your community food market 2.) French Fries - enjoyed with the aid of toddlers and Adults alike. 3.) Mac and Cheese - honestly a toddler famous. You catch my waft precise? As with the Adults, in basic terms bypass on your community Deli and ask what variety of Platter have they have been given for the vacations. I have been given myself final year an entire platter of Ham and Cheese Sandwhich that's particularly everyone's delight. What about the remake of Willie Wonka with Johnny Depp? You can rent the DVD and show it at home. I enjoyed it and I am an adult.
I think it's a great movie for kids to see.
You can get a review at SCREENIT.COM.

Try : Over the Hedge or Open Season. Both were fab films for kids. "Cars" was also very cute, and my b/f's son loved it. A real boys film, with a little bit of "romance" in. Very cute.
