I'm wanting to start a karaoke business and I'm wondering what type of equipment I would need. I have lights speakers sound boards mikes and stands. I'm wondering whether it is better to use cd-g's or computer software? And what type of software is the best?

The trend is definitely moving toward the computer based systems. Discs are a nuisance to store, transport, and fumble around with.
