You should talk to your doctor. Getting the pill prescription down can take a bit of work, as each woman and each pill is a bit different. A friend of mine was a raging ***** on one pill, but she's doing great on another. It may just be that you're not on the best one for your body.

Even better - how about the ones that allow you to have only four periods a year? I was on these for a while (I've gone through menopause now) and I REALLY liked them. The one I'm familiar with is called "Sesonale;" you might want to ask your doctor about those so that you don't bleed so often or so much (the reason I was taking them as well).

The one that makes your period the shortest is Loestrin but Seasonale has only 4 periods a year. You really need to talk to your doctor about switching.

Seasonel...it's the one that give you a period one out of every 3 months and they only last about 3 days...the nice thing about this brand is you only pay for one months worth but you get 3

I just started the NuvaRing and my period just lasted two days and they were light. I was on the Depo Provera shot and I didn't have a period at all. I hope this helps!
