its pretty simple and self-explanitorie. you get cranberies, or berries off a tree, and pop a big bowl of popcorn. you take a needle and a loooooooong piece of thread and basically piece eah thing onto the string. to stop the ends, put hot glue there. its really simple and cute. good luck!

Oh yeah - REAL easy, and it looks beautiful! Use heavy duty thread and a needle with a larger eye. I love the idea of using hot glue on the ends. I have usually just used a cranberry on the end and knotted around it. Then about 10 popcorns and one cranberry looks good to me. Then drape lightly around the tree. It's REAL time consuming though - I'll warn you!

I have found that Act II (cheaper popcorn) natural does the trick real well. Nice, big kernels. Don't try to pop on stove. Those are small kernels, and don't look as nice.

I have done it. I air popped pop corn (don't want butter on it!), took fresh cranberries, used a large sewing needle (like a darning needle), and coarse thread, or even fishing line, and made a pattern, like 5 pcs of popcorn, then 3 cranberries, then repeat.

Take a long pecie of good string and tie a needle on to it and pnuture it through the carnberries and popcorn.
When you are doing this do it outside or over newspapers, cranberries stay on carpet forever.

Wear latex gloves and use red string.

Just poke the pin through the fattest part of the largest popped corn and the largest cranberries... I usually do a pattern, like two corn to 1 cranberry etc...

tie off and hang and your laughing, easy peasy!

Use thick thread or fishing line and a large needle. Thread popped corn and berries (alternate). Use a knot and hot glue to stop the ends. Be careful and good luck.
