first of all i think u mean morneau and SANTANA. and second of all, the twins are my favorite team but i dont know how well they can do. morneau will be wanting big money this year as his contract expiered and only teams like ny will be able to afford him. pitching is also a concern with liriano out for the season and radke retired. I'd say they have a chance of making the wild card but i dont know about winning the word series, not serious as you spelled it.

Soriano didn't win the Cy Young BECAUSE HE ISN'T A PITCHER. SANTANA won the Cy Young. Nobody will win the WORLD SERIOUS in 2007 because there is no such thing. I don't see how players from the same team winning the 2005 MVP and Cy Young helped the Cardinals win the World Series. The Cardinals barely made the playoffs, and lucky for them they caught fire in the playoffs or else they would have never won.

No, they wont.... and the only reason is because Liriano is gone for a year, and behind Santana, the Twins rotation is AWFUL thin. The Whitesox have 5 Legitimate Starters, The Tigers have 5 VERY legitimate starters, the Redsox if they sign Matsuzaka will go 4 deep..Oakland will go 4 Deep...The Yankees go 4 deep and if Pavano could stop with the Gilligan type accidents, they could go 5 deep... thats 5 teams right there who will have much better pitching than the Twins, AND THEN ALL OF THOSE TEAMS (aside from Oakland) can pound out runs. No, the Twins arent winning WS in 2007..maybe when Liriano is back in 2008

Right now, i think that the Twins are the most confused team right now about next season. Radke retired, Liriano is out for the season.
Also they have real problems with Left Field, and Third Basemen. Last season they had 3 players playing left field per game. White, Tyner, and Kubal. (And Shannon Stewart for a fourth)
In Third, the Twins love Nick Puntos D. but he's a real problem when it comes to batting.
In pitching the bullpen is extremely great. Those hwo say their nullpin sucks have no clue on what the Twins are made of. Santana is a great pitcher but behind him in the pitching rotation is like trying to organize papers or choosing Jeter or Soriano.
So the Twins (I admit) are really messed up right now. They have HUGE and i mean HUGE amounts of money in their salary but (for some reason) don't seem to be doing anything on free agency.
So could they win? Yes, will they? probably... lets hope for the best.

No. I don't see them getting out of their division, they will be a fine team, but without the power pitching of this year they will struggle to win enough.
They have to beat the Tigers (who are only better) and hte White Sox who will be back.
The Yankees will be competiting for that wild card, as well as this division (Red Sox are winning the division, no doubt)

I think it is very possible for the Twins to win next year. I mean they did make it to the playoffs this year. I don't see why they can't take all the way next year.

NO!!! The twins suck. Every year you guys think you have a shot, but you make the playoffs and choke, choke, choke. Look at this year's playoffs (A's sweep) if you need proof.
