Ok well i set up my wireless network,i can see both computers from either. On the computer B, i can see and access the computer A,which includes all the files and programs. On A, i can access only the my documents from the B,nothing else. It tells me that it is restricted. I checked the share settings on B,and it is checked on. What am i doing wrong? I tried researching online, but cant find an answer.

Check the file permissions on the folder your trying to access. There may be tighter restrictions placed on the users trying to access those files.

I would think it is in your security settings on B. Check to see what it is set up at. You may have to do some more researching or go into a newsgroup and ask questions.. or someone on Yahoo may know exactly what the problem is.. good luck

There are 2 types of file sharing in XP, I suspect you have enabled file sharing with user/group permissions:

Check these links to check which one you used.

1) Simple file sharing in Windows XP (default): http://www.home-network-help.com/file-sharing.html

2) File sharing with user/group permissions in Windows XP: http://www.home-network-help.com/share-file.html
