for example.. im from dunedin. in nz!, theres been ice bergs near the coast, numerous times in my lift time and many times since the 1900's, kids of today aint a different generation, they were just in primary school when i was finishing high school..
so do u think its been blown out of proportion by stupid kids that dont know what hard work is? in central otago its been known to get to 40' degree's, its been like that since the steam trains where around, the media makes it look worse than it is.

There is only about 100 or so years of temperature data, and the world runs in cycles. It is possible that the world is getting warmer, but I do not see where it is a crisis. More pollutants are put in the air by one volcano than man does in a year.
Global warming is being used as a political tool by those who want to end progress and individual freedoms!!

The whole global warming thing is a bunch of political crap. There's money behind promoting it, so people like AlGore are willing to lie to get ignorant people to believe him.
In the 70's it was called "global cooling" and we had 10 years before the planet was frozen solid. Now it's called "global warming" and we're all gonna burn up in another 10 years.
Actually I'm surprised anyone believes it at all. Must be because science isn't taught in school anymore. If more people understood science they'd see how stupid the whole idea of humans causing climatic changes sounds.
Let's just hope that more people can wise up to the whole thing and realize they're being conned.

Historically, we are between ice ages, and are 500 years overdue for an ice age.
I am enjoying the warm weather while it lasts.

we'll never know. that's for sure. either we live long enough to see nothing happen..in which case we can say we solved it or it never was going to happen to begin with. Or, it happens and we all croak early. Or we just croak normally and it happens to someone else.
the optimist.

The media may make it look like it's worse then it is... but at the same time we are slowly killing our own planet. The media and gvnt are just making us look at it and think more about it!!

nope, may not drastically effect US now (or our generation at all), but hey, ensuring the survival of the human race is a pretty big burden, which we SHOULD carry
