Unless a person is connected and worship in a church that teaches the Word, they will probably not read it much on their own, therefore they can't live it if they don't read, learn, or know it. I was that way for a little while in my christian life, so that's the source I can witness about. Once I was lead to a church that required you to bring your Bible with you, paper and pen, I began learning and loving the Word, which then became my lifestyle. I hope that helps!

Some goes to church and hear what the pastor has to say and that is why there is so much confusion in this world. Reading the word for one self will help that person to know when the pastor is right and wrong and one then can inquire or ask questions for understanding along with prayer of course.Lack of reading the word is another reson why one do not live accordingly. The bible says "God words have I hid in my heart so that I may not sin against thee".

People believe in a personal way, just because it is not the way people believe it SHOULD be doesn't mean they don't live according to the word. We are all different but in the eyes of god he loves us the same.

The same reason they live in hell at home in their marriages yet smile and pose for the cameras as the perfect little happy family on the outside. They want to look good to everyone else. They live a lie.

Some of them are actually naive enough to believe that just going to church will save them - some churches even PREACH that! If you are baptized and confirmed in the Catholic church that assures you entrance into heaven. At least that's what I've been told by Catholics. For them I assume it's a practice to insure entrance to heaven not out of a heart's desire to know God and follow Him. It's just rituals.

The residing word of God became the emblems, this is Jesus Christ (look it up, you could surely locate it in the dictionary and on Wikipedia). i'm rooted on him. I do study the bible inspite of the undeniable fact that this is a mistranslation to assert the bible is the residing word. The Bible is the know-how (small w which ability grammar, written gadgets) of God. to assert it rather is the residing word is to place it over Jesus, something i might by no ability do.

To kashonnam, this is zeromeyzl here, who you answered on the NT/OT question. I want to personally thank you for your encouragement in your answer to me. God bless you!

As for your question, it's phrased by many as coming to church to hear the Word but not going out to share it. The thing in question here is the sense of responsibility of each Christian to do the will of God and live according to His Word. For example, the Word of God tells us to go out and tell the world about Jesus' work on the cross, but not many Christians do that. It's like they're just happy knowing God and being a child of His, but not wanting to take their relationships with God higher.

I guess it's a matter of their will and obedience to God, and how much their willing to entrust their life into God's loving and providing hands. Eventually when they get to heaven, God will ask them why they never really did live like Jesus, and they'll be lost for words and regretful that they didn't carry out the MARVELLOUS plan God had for their lives when God reveals all He had planned for them in heaven.

For you and I myself, I pray that God will empower us through the Holy Spirit to will and to act according to His good, pleasing and perfect purpose. Let us begin/continue storing up treasures in heaven that we will enjoy when our earthly days are finally over.

May the peace and love of God be with you! Send me an email if you please. I'd be glad to hear from a faithful Christian as you seem to be.

I think that a vast majority of those that attend church (or any house of any religion) are seeking, searching and trying to understand and/or live by the "Word" (or the truth of their religion). Those that are at peace with themselves, their lives, their world, their religion, etc., etc., do not usually attend a house of worship.

The Bible even talks about this discrepancy, In James 1:22 it says,
But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

What word are you talking about, exactly? You see, I went to college and I know a lot of words, but it seems you think that whatever word you are talking about is obvious to everyone.
You should really expand your vocabulary.
