removed plastic tab on cartridge so i know its making contact,it just wont print now only after i installed the new cartridge,any ideas

Use kleenex and softly and carefully rub the area of contact, it must be clean, then place in the right cartridge holder, if that don't work set the cartidge in warm water not touching where you removed tape, then remove and dry gently, try again, run a test. I refill my own cartridges and do this often...if it shouldn't respond.

Remove the cartridge and hold the contact side under a warm water tap for a couple of seconds then reinstall it.

after you removed the plastic tab u need to shake it...Normally it will bring u to test print. Try to restart your printer and your PC as well....Good Luck!!
