i can totally relate! this saying is so true! i was dating a guy and i am not going to lie he was great! we had a lot of fun together and had a lot of laughs and we were really into each other! and then we decided to break up with each other because other people have to be all up in our business and it created drama and let me tell you it was horrible! after we broke up i honestly didn't realize how good i had it until i lost him! it was like all the things that i did before i was with him just didn't feel the same because he was always there! i missed him so much and i felt like i took him for granted and i totally hated myself because the only reason we decided to break up was because of other people! i was miserable! i really didn't know what i had until i lost it! and you know what we decided to give it another try and right now i am the happiest person ever! i realized that people are always gonna talk no matter what and its not worth losing my guy again! i finally realized how much he means to me! so yea that saying is definately true!

yes it is true, it's just like the saying the grass is always greener on the other side. You might have the greatest person in the world with you and you dump him or her for the next hot-ti only to find out that there *** holes or a B!&*h, Thats about the time you look back and say Why did I break up with him or her agin??? Here I can prove this go up to any singal woman who is not married and ask her, about the nice guy she dated back in high school who she dumped for the cute guy or more populer guy. Only to find out later that he is rich, has a great job and is set up for life and that cute guy back in school got here knocked up and then ran off. i have herd this story time and time agin. So the point is if got some good in your life hold on to it!!

Yes actually. In many aspects. Like a mother and daughter not getting along and the next week mother suddenly and unexpectantly passes away. Daughter feels guilt and pain because of it then wishes she hadn't have been so hateful to her mother. Or a break up or something like that. That's why we people shouldn't take things for granted so much.

Totally, utterly, without a doubt, TRUE! I crack it up to human nature, unfortunately, but this can be overcome if you ever had to struggle for someone, as in wait many years for the right man to come along and marry or wait many years to have a baby. Then, these people are so precious to you because they did not come easily.

Yes it is true. I know from experience. from 2 different guys. I thought I wanted better. But realized I already had better. Keep what you got or someone else will.

Very true Indeed!!!
As the saying goes, you never want a drink of water until the well runs dry. Why we do not appreciate what we have, I don't know. I guess it is the case of how would we know good without bad? How would we know peace without war. How would we know clean without dirty? Well you see where I am going.........
I think God puts the curves in the road so that we can not see too far ahead...............

From personal experience I would say there is alot of truth to this and it is something I am forced to think about daily.
If there is anyway you can salvage your relationship before it's too late I would say do whatever it takes as long as it will not harm you in anyway.

No, it isn't necessarily true. Many people do know and appreciate what they have and by doing so, they are more likely to keep the thing they have.

I think it is true. I've been married three times and both of my first husbands now say they made the stupidest mistake letting me go.
