i own a repair shop, and it depends on how backed up the dealer is on ordering parts it could take a few days to get them in,,as for the cause of them going bad they may have gotten too hot and cracked or have a slight warp in them, anything can happen to make them go bad most people don't think about how much damage they can do to an engine until its too late,,like the one guy who once said it just over heated a little so i drove it the rest of the way home, that trip cost him over a thousand dollars to repair,so with today's cars anything can make them go bad,,good luck with it,i hope this help,s.

Depending on the year of the jeep, the dealer may be able to get the heads within a day, or they may have to order them which is usually a 3-4 day delay. With the holiday weekend, there may be a bit longer delay. Check with the dealer for the time frame.
Did you overheat the engine? What is wrong with the heads? if they are cracked they need to be replaced, but a machine shop may be able to resurface a slightly warped head.

And to understand which you controlled to blow 2! exciting! it variety of feels to me which you forgot to envision the coolant point on your motor vehicle and ended up working low, which led to your warped, cracked or perhaps blown head gaskets. it somewhat is superb. you're fortunate the broking is changing it below guarantee. Now those areas are made out of aluminum which demands a brilliant style of heating to get them good adequate for use as an motor vehicle piece due the the temperature adjustments required. solid success attempting to discover a thank you to make the dealership or perhaps the Daimler Chrysler men pay for the condo motor vehicle.

as long as you have been changiing the oil, at the recommended intervals, nothing. I would check with the manufacturer on this one. They should have the engine under warranty unless it is older than the alotted stipulation. You could be in a bad spot but I don't know because you were not totally forthcoming in your question.
