About 5 days ago i had one faint positive home test. Then at the doctor both the urine and the blood tests were negative. Now i am still 15 going on 16 days late. My uterus is tender to the touch and my mood swings are worse than usual, But thats about it as far as symptoms go. What do you think? Any of you ladies had negative results until a certain time??

Many things can make you late, but its very common to have a false negative early in pregnancy, I was negative until over 9 weeks when finally I found out by blood test as the urine test taken the same day was negative. I was then sent for an ultrasound to see how far along I was to then find out I was already 9 weeks +, your best bet is to not worry until you miss your second period then go back and get tested as your hormones should be higher if pregnant. My only sign of pregnancy was fainting, I put that down to the heat. Good luck and relax, if your pregnant your just not meant to find out yet. If your not then there is another explanation for missing your period. Best of luck.

It depends on the sensitivity of the tests ur using. But if a blood test was negative, chances are your not pregnant. Having said that, I had 2 negative test results when I was pregnant with my daughter - 3 time lucky. Just go back to your doctor if nothing happens in a week or so - especially if you have pain.

I have never even had an over the counter test be wrong much less one from the dr. I think the dr's test is most probably correct. Hope this (testing negative) is the answer you had hoped for.

I am very glad you went to the doctor!
I was 8 weeks(!!!!) late once (def. not pregnant), then my period finally came. During that 8 weeks i had 'phantom' periods where I would get all the associated symptoms and feelings.

If you're still not convinced, go to another doctor and get a second opinion.

I would call my gyno and talk to the nurse. You probably need to go back in for another test. They also may be able to ultrasound you if they need to in order to be sure. the blood tests are usually correct.
