I can, and I will, but for me it's hard. In a way you could say that on some levels I am always reaching out, becasue I am an open person who shares my life freely with those around me. But when it comes to reaching out above and beyond that, I have problems taking that first step.

Yes, I'm able to reach out when in need.
Needs must get provided, and if someone or something is a must--I ask God to help me put my fear of rejection aside, in order to put my trust in God surrounding me with people able, ready, and willing to help whenever I ask or wherever I'm seen in need.
I'm not as comfortable when it comes to the reach out when in simple 'want-itis.'
A want isn't need. A want is more someone or something simply 'hoped for.' I'm aware of the difference between the two.

Always. Unfortunately, the way the human race is (including my family), most people could care less so consequently I have no outlet except for my girlfriend and a friend I've know for years. But sometimes they get overwhelmed too, so then I get no relief at all.

Love your avatar...it's evocative. Yes, I'm able to reach out when I'm in need, and also when someone else is in need.

Not really. I still try to take care of everything myself. I've had to for so long it's the only way I know.

I'm learning how to, but it isn't natural for me. I tend to be the one people lean on & who lends aid instead.
