ok so I was hoping for an iPod for CHRISTmas...I was wondering do u have to pay for the music with a credit or debit card??U can't like download the music and then like they send u a bill and u send them the money....or how does the whole buying the music thing go???

You either need to use a credit/debit card or a gift card that you can buy from Target, Wal-Mart, etc. and redeem on iTunes. Also, any CD's and music you download, you just drop them into your iTunes folder and you can put them on your iPod as well.

If you don't have a credit card, don't worry! iTunes sells music card in $15, $25, and $50 increments. Just go to your local Walmart, Target, etc. and purchase one of these cards (using cash) and scratch the gray area off the back of the card. This will give you the code that lets you buy the music off of iTunes, without using a credit card!

you can buy off the internet through itunes with a credit card.
if you don't want to use a credit card, go to any major store and buy a prepaid itunes card off the shelf ($15.00, $25.00, whatever), and enter the number to itunes from the card, and that's it.
They will not send you a bill

im guessing you dont know anything about ipods, let me explain
if you have an ipod, you can put music on it
you can put ANY music on it
you can buy a cd from a local cd store, put it on your computer and then put them on your ipod
you can take any songs you have on yoru computer now and put them on your ipod
you can download song from limewire and put them on your ipod
you can also buy music from any music store online and put them on your ipod
if you WANT TO you can buy songs from itunes to put on your ipod, but YOU DO NOT NEED TO BUY SONGS FROM ITUNES TO PUT THEM ON YOUR IPOD

i have an ipod, i have over 1.500 songs on it. I HAVE NEVER bought music online or on itunes. i have bought CD's at walmart or kmart or any other cd store where you drive to the store and pick up a plastic case w/ a CD in it. those are the only CD's i buy. and i put them on my ipod
you do NOT need to buy music online to use an ipod. and the only way you CAN BUY MUSIC ONLINE IS BY USING A CREDIT CARD

Yes, you need to have a credit or check card. Other than that, pay your parents money, and they can buy you gift certificates you use.

u can download them illegally or use cds to upload them to your computer. U can purchase itunes using your credit card, very simple. Use the program to purchase.
