I just got skillet's new comatose cd. i was wondering what the meaning behind the song "say goodbye" was the lyrics are really weird like.

After reading the lyrics...I think...although they are a Christian band...I think this song is about a relationship. Like someone is leaving...and if it is going to be over...like not make a long distance relationship...he/she (I havent heard the song so dont know if it is a guy or girl singing) is asking the other to just wait awhile before they say goodbye. Even Christian bands sing about the love between people and not just about ,God, from time to time.

He doesn't want to say goodbye or breakup and it hurts him to be without her. but hey people grow up and people change. we may always love the person but know we can't be with him. i think thats what he is trying to say

a christian song is a inspiring song and they usually mention the lord in the song..or song of praise to the lord...
