Have you noticed how the less attractive singers are the most talented?

I mean, while I wouldn't mind bending Britney Spears over the table, she has nothing on someone like Aretha Franklin. You know people who are successful based on their talent and don't simply portray the whore image that all the preteen sluts who buy her records want to be.

I agree. Beauty isn't everything. These days, it's how much cleavage can I show without showing my nipples, or how much makeup can I wear without having to chisel it off.
I don't care much about the look, and I don't watch much tv anymore because it scares me. Really does. Perfect people (want to be perfect people, that is), the way they portray themselves, and it makes me wonder what the world is coming to.
I know some great singers, but I think they still look attractive in their own way. In my book, everybody is beautiful. My book is all that matters to me,

Sex sells. And that industry just drages little teenies in - look like her be like her. All these anorexic kids running around. But not that Britney Spears is much now
..... How about Shakira? I think shes great. And beautiful. Also, these people who have been in the career so long, they have enough money to keep putting out albums and do their own thing. They don't have to sell theirselves short because they know they are great.
Would you still bend Britney in 30 years? hahha
Or Mic Jager or Steve Tyler - so not attractive but great singers.
