Why didn't he bleed out this morning? Is he just starting to heal?

why not just watch the episode for free at abc.com and find out for yourself? if you don't want to do that then keep reading. he didn't bleed out because the previous day his girlfriend took him to the hospital where they presumably stitched him up. he still has the wound as he had to try and hid it from her to keep her from seeing that he still has a fresh wound.
