God rest his soul.

There will never be another man in black.

Don't mean any disrespect to your screen name, but he was a one and only.

Being such a fan, you know that he was a man of great conviction who not only was a country music star, but also stood for causes such as hygenic conditions in prisons. He also visited Vietnam with his wife June Carter Cash during the conflict there as a boost to the troops.

I could go on and on, but you probably know most of the story. So I'll just end by saying God bless you JC.

i love Johnny Cash! I watch Walk The Line religiously and i cant get enough of it! I found like a shi-t load of Cash cd's of my father's and i listen to them all the time. i'm still young so i never got to really listen to Johnny when he first came about. and actually, I barely even knew who the guy was until he passed. My brother and I listen to him all the time and it is one of the only things he and I bond over so its nice. I think he was very talented and he's going to be rememberd and cherished forever. he is definatley a classic; always has and always will be

i've always liked johnny cash, i can't remember a time when i haven't had a JC cd. he was a brilliant artist.....some of the "walk the line" bandwagoners are kind of annoying though....at least there is a new found appreciation of a legend though i suppose.

He was a musical genius who influenced the Beatles and many others. He worked hard at his chosen profession and he wrote music to the very end. I like him and he deserves recognition.

Yes, he had a very folksy sound which made his music very easy to hear and understand. I'm hearing impaired and like singers who have voices I can hear very clearly and he had that kind of voice.
