I personally have never seen a player that has AM. I have not seen EVERY player out there, but I do know the market, and I doubt it.
May as well get a separate AM radio, or depending on what you want to listen to (talk radio, for example) you may still get your favorite show from an XM or Sirius sattelite radio/recorder with mp3 and battery portablility
