An associates in business is almost worthless--you need a bachelors. If you are planning on getting an associates, computers would probably be better.
If you commit to a 4 year degree, major in business & minor in computers or vice versa. And then add certifications (by taking exams i.e. CPA, CIA) rather than an MBA.

Computers, particularly if you're only going to get an Associate's degree. You'll have more practical knowledge that you can use on the job. You may find that your employer can then help you upgrade your skills as the need presents itself. A lot of people with four-year undergrad degrees in Business can't get a good job until they go back and get their MBA.

I think a computer-related degree would be better than a business degree. Of course, I'm in the IT field, so I may be a little prejudiced! But, from my experience, it seems like my friends and acquaintances and coworkers who have computer-related degrees have a much wider choice of jobs and much higher-paying jobs than those with a business degree.
Of course, ultimately, you should major in whatever interests YOU the most ... just because a job is well-paying, doesn't mean you will be happy doing it for 40 years or so! So, in the end, please choose whatever is of most interest to you.
Good luck!

Majoring in business with a minor in computer technology would be more helpful. There is always room for promotion in the business world and this advancement will only be accelerated with your college computer skills.

If you have the motivation and interest in computers especially software, then go for B.A. in Computer Science, and minor in business. The majority of the bigger companies will likely to look at graduates with a software engineering degree plus a business management background to understand the business of their respective companies. Trust me on this.
You're welcome.

I would say plan to learn both either on the job
or in full time school. You can do a five year program at the BE/MBA level if you want to
work hard. If you want to be a computer tech
you can find a job with an AA. If you want to work
in the computer field.....

an expert is one who knows everything about something and something about everything.
well, life is all that about.
start with something - computers in this case, and then later on migrate to management.
