I'm having twin girls and I like the names but I want to hear from someone else. Jennifer Nicole and Cortney Bethe?

I would avoid giving one daughter a name spelled the most conventional way and giving the other daugther a name she'll have to spell for people every day of her life.

That being said, I think Jennifer and Courtney are a terrific twin set... or if you insist on kre8iv spellings: Genifer and Cortney.

Jennifer is one of those names that seems like every girl has. A child's sense of identity is really strongly tied to their name, and by naming her Jennifer, you can bet she's going to be one of at least two, maybe more in her class. This will be even worse for her because she's a twin, and already has a lot of identity issues built right in. I would suggest that you might want to look for a slightly more original or unique name for one of the girls. After all, Jennifer was the sixth most common name in the 1990 US census, and was ranked 26th in a sample of 2000-2003 Social Security Administration statistics. Kids want to fit in, but they also want to be "special," you know?

I like Cortney just fine, but I would spell Bethe as Beth, because otherwise I guarantee that everyone will pronounce it "beethe."

Jennifer Nicole (too american not unique enough and very common)
Cortney Bethe is ok but very common. I like the spelling Courtney Beth better though.

Jennifer Nicole is so common and kind of boring unless you are naming her after relatives or someone special. Cortney Bethe are nice but why spell them so strange? It will just cause grief for people and you will forever be correcting them. Bethe seeing it on paper would be pronounced (bee-thee) that is how I see it.

Jennifer Nicole is nice.....but it seems to old for a little child, but it could work if you nicknamed her Jenna, Jenni, Nickie, Jenn, etc!!

Cortney Bethe is one that I DON'T LIKE!! Sorry, but the spelling of Cortney is weird....it looks like a cork off of a wine bottle....and the spelling of Bethe throws the whole name off, how about Kourtney Eliza/Elizabeth?????
