I think that Obama's chances have increased a lot lately. I also think that John Edwards and Jim Webb have good chances.

It's laughable that people are already worried about the next Presidential Election.
There are laws JUST ENACTED by THIS PRESIDENT Bush that need your work right NOW... and you want Americans to forget about that and worry about 2008?!! Get real.
Either you are a traitor or you need to Stop Thinking about 2008 and help to rebuild your nation NOW. Rebuild the constiitution and bill of rights that was destroyed RECENTLY.
Find out what this Administration was done to banish your liberties-- things that will be instituted in 2007-- like the new national i.d. card that can have infra red tracking and fingerprints for EVERYONE, or the new law in which you won't be able to travel ANYWHERE outside the US without PERMISSION of the government. Or Imminent Domain, which means your property can be taken away without your permission. All under the Bush Administration. There are so many things you should be worried about NOW.
Get smart. Read and get involved with your town government and then ask relevant questions. Quit playing games.

I agree with what Reba K said. Even though I'm living abroad, I've had contacts with organizations like Fair Vote and have been sending them many essays I've wrote about electoral reform of both the Electoral College and the Winner Take All System. I'm planning on trying to be a member of any of these non-profit oraganizations and want to help our country. Remember, we're all Americans; it doesn't matter if your Republican, Democrat, Independent, Libertarian, Green, etc. because we all must work for our country. As soon as I get my college situation squared away, I promise to do even more for Americans who want to see real innovations. Even though we kicked many incumbents out this year, we still need to do more. I'm proud to see many political freaks like me are worrying about our country's fate. People don't have to worry about the same thing because many people worry about the economy, our politics, our foreign policies, equal rights, protecting our country or just topics like gay marriage, abortion, income wages, etc. We're a country that likes to make choices and have lots of options, let's do something about it. I want to worry about my state's city government, county government, state government and our federal government. I haven't seen so much emotion about an election since 2000. But we all deserve more choices. Congratulations to the cities that passed Instant Runoff Voting and Single Transferable Voting this year; if more cities get in the mix, there's still hope yet to save our democracy. And my answer to the question is Hillary although 2008 promises to be a tight one. Wouldn't be something if we see a Clinton/ Obama v/s Giuliani/ McCain face-off? If that happens, NY could just as well be the FL of 2000. Not for cardiacs!

A man who will have the guts to close the borders and toss out all ilegals. Make English the official American language, toss the UN out of America and withdraw our membership, stop unnecessary abortion, enforce the laws we now have on the books about gun control instead of making new ones, declare marriage for the man and the woman, close down all universities that do not present political balanced teaching, force Mexico to pay for its wayward citizens, close down all Islamist organizations in America till the terrorist ranks no longer include Muslims, These are a few we could start with. McCain meets few of the qualifications above. Obama!...what a joke!

Although I think he's carrying too much baggage from that whole Terri schiavo thing, Jeb would be a good President. he's been a good governor here in Florida. Personally, I'd like to see someone a little more moderate like Rudy Giuliani.
