For all you fear mongers out there who are responding...Yeah YOU! The US will survive and prosper no matter if our troops stay or go. The Islamic powers that claim to hate us still need our money to survive. They have oil and nothing much more and you can't eat oil or shoot oil out of a gun. We are the largest consumer of oil and our money is constantly needed. With all of the tough talk on both sides, there is one rule to remember "DON'T MESS WITH THE MONEY!"

The US Marines pulled out of Lebanon in the 80s as they collapsed into a civil war while Sunnis, Shites, Israeli, US and Former USSR powers were dumping weapons and intelligence to keep the war going. As for IRAQ: They'll collapse into a civil war, regardless of US presence. Sunnis and Shites will kill each other to purge out bad blood to even old scores. Turkey will invade Northern Iraq to keep the Kurds from establishing a Kurdish state will oil resources.

President Bush will not bring democracy to the region, but plunder it into a chaos for the next 20 years. Want to bet?

Nope! Never! Will not happen for a while. Let the Iraqi's have a civil war?? That is such lame and shallow thinking. Who put them in this position to begin with??? Let me see..... America! So America needs to fix the mess it created before leaving! Why? Well the next time America says Country X has nuclear wepons or WMD, and if they really do, God help us. Because the US will not even be able to say crap or deploy anyone. So fix the mess America.

They will begin the process of winding down the war. We cannot bring the troops home suddenly because Iraq would collapse into civil war. We have destroyed their infrastructure and we have to find a way to build it up before we withdraw completely.

They will support reducing the number of troops in Iraq... it's decaying into civil war anyways, and I don't think there's much we can do to stop this. Then some dictator will rise to the top and he will restore order just like Sadaam did.
