It depends on what you want to do. Windows machines are good for games, productivity, etc. Macs are good for video, audio, photos, etc. But macs can run windows now, because they're based on intel processors.

there is no diff just Macontosh came out with the computer a pc is the same thing but in a repair shop they will call it a clone tower because mac has there computers registerd so if you get a mac it would not be called a clone tower

As far as the hardware goes, there's really not much difference.
The real differences are - Mac's OSX assumes that you are a moron. Mac's have about 1/4 of the software that PCs have.

You are kidding, right?
MAC = expensive software, little to choose from, forget big name games, expensive to upgrade, GUI different from Windows, Internet security excellent, software packages excellent.
PC = Microsoft rubbish, loads of so so software, Internet security dismal.
PC = Linux free free free, free software to download, Internet security super, software packages good but free...........lol
