Check the Guiness book of records.

IIRC the record for most children was some Russian or German woman with around 40 - a lot of twins and a few triplets in there, 25 or more separate pregnancies.

A woman can get pregnant not long after giving birth. I talked to someone once who was only 7.5 months older than her brother. A second baby within a year of the first is quite common.

A woman will ovulate from about 2 weeks before her first period until menopause; usually around 12 or 13 years old to about 45 to 50. In the beginning and the end times, ovulation (and periods) can be somewhat irregular.

The youngest recorded pregnancy was a 5-year-old in Peru, suffering from what is called "precocious puberty". (They never did figure out who the father was.) This happens from time to time where girls start to develop very early. A few cases in Puerto Rico years ago were traced to abuse of hormones fed to chickens there to encourage quicker-growing, fatter chickens.

Normal girls can get their period as early as around 10 years old and pre-teen pregnancies are NOT uncommon. However, if the mother is too young, it can mean poor development and complications for the baby.

The French-Canadians (among others) were famous for large families; I guess it was pretty cold up there, and no TV, and getting married at 16 was common. 10 to 20 children were common. Look up how many siblings Celine Dion has... (But she had trouble having just 1 child...) The movie "Cheaper by the Dozen" is based very loosely on the book by one of the 12 Gilbreth children in New England. Henry the 8th's first wife pushed out a dozen still-borns, and one live daughter- later Queen "Bloody Mary" -before Henry decided to try a different wife because he wanted a son.

It's very rare that women have quintuplets (5 babies) or more. Once you get to that number, they rarely survive - they are too small. Also, with a large number of babies the risk of complications for mother and children goes up. IIRC the Dion quintuplets north of Toronto in the 1930's were famous for being the first set of quints to all survive beyond the first month.

There have been a lot more of these multiple births in the last few decades; the drugs childless couples take to promote conception basically encourage the growth and release of eggs, frequently many at the same time, resulting in multiple fraternal twins, triplets, etc. There have been women with 6 or 7 children recently where some have survived.

So theoretically, a woman could pop out a baby or several about every 10 months from age 12 to 48 or so... Oddly enough, most choose to stop well before double digits.

The odds of twins vary between cultures, but are typically 1 in 80 or so. The odds go up if your family has a history of twins. The odds of triplets are 1 in about 700, IIRC. You can find these details on the internet.

how many times can you get pregnant and how many kids can you have at one time?

You can get pregnant many, many times, only stopping when the female hits menopause and no longer releases eggs. The number of babies you can have at one time is quite a few, but septuplets are about as high as it gets. Have fun!

I have heard of people that have more then 20 children...which doesnt mean that somewhere in history someone didn't have more. I dont know how many children it is possible to have at once but there have been numerous stories of people that have had 10 babies at once after going through infertility treatment. Your question needs some fine tuning.
