I've been out for 2 weeks because of the flu.

When I was younger I was out for close to a month.... I had the flu, got some meds, and then had an allergic reaction to the meds. I couldn't walk....my school cooperated andjust sent my work home.

When I was in college, I missed a month with mono. And when I was teaching, I missed two weeks with the flu, went back, lasted 20 minutes and was out another week.

This one guy in my class was out for half a year because he was in an ATV accident and he was apparently run over, and his liver actually ruptured. He actually lived through it, his liver grew back and he is fine today.

2 weeks when I got my tonsils pulled. then 1 week when I got my wisdom teeth pulled

about a week when I got Shingles ( from chicken pox if you didn't have a big case of them)
