how long can it last in the oven without cathing on fire or getting burned ?

Aluminum doesn't melt until about 1200f.

Because it takes 660 degrees Centigrade or 1220 degrees Fahrenheit for it to melt. Also, Aluminum does not burn easily (or rust, which is the same thing only slower) because it is relatively inert, which is why it is used in the first place. I guess they're not big on science in school anymore, are they?

The Al foil is NOT paper, its metal and preserves his phsycal and chemical propierties. The melting point is near the 1200F

aluminium has a high melting point, way higher than your oven can go. 660C or 1220F. if your oven could do that it would probably burn your house down if it wasnt insulated effectively.

It's a metal. I think the melting point is around 1,150-1,250 degrees F. By the way, NEVER put it inside a micro wave. It WILL blow the circuit board.

forever if you notice if you burn trash its the only thing that wasnt burnt up

try putting the foil on ur micro.....
